Innovative management model
Attorney Jie LIU, head of Hylands’ Xi’an Office, proposed to operate the firm in an integrated, harmonious, and open manner.
Coordinate global resources and provide full services to clients. Xi'an Office will share resources with the headquarters and local branches to provide clients with comprehensive, professional, and efficient legal services. The resources-sharing system will lay a solid foundation for the development of the firm.
Assign enough administrative personnel to support the work of lawyers. Xi'an Office will implement the concept of the Hylands – a big-middle office - to provide administrative services for the whole process of lawyers' business, and keep a structure of partners, professional lawyers, and administrative secretaries in a ratio of 1:3:2. Sufficient administrative support can help lawyers to improve their work efficiency.
Each team has expertise in their respective field and should cooperate to serve clients. Hylands has no tolerance for vicious competition and adheres to the concept of ‘democracy, equality, openness, tolerance, diversity, and ambition’. The firm welcomes excellent talents with an exploratory spirit to join and encourages different teams to conduct in-depth research in their respective fields while cooperating with others to serve clients and enhance the inclusive value of the firm.
Aid those in need and the old
Hylands Xi’an Office has set up ‘three funds’, which denote the Young Lawyers Development Fund, the Three-Phase Security Fund for Female Employees, and the Retirement Fund for Elderly Lawyers, which are respectively used to help young lawyers in need, pregnant female lawyers, and retired lawyers.
Xi’an Office has decided to allocate the office’s operative annual income surplus into these three funds as a means to convert this system to a permanent one.
