Since joining Hylands in 2006, Ms. Zhao has been focusing on providing a full range of legal services for large state-owned listed energy enterprises and advising on corporate business, securities business, mergers and acquisitions and dispute resolution. Since 2018, she has been serving as the perennial legal adviser for China Datang Corporation Ltd.
Ms. Zhao has participated in several IPOs, private placement of A shares, registration and issuance of corporate bonds, registration and issuance of debt financing instruments, and corporate mergers and acquisitions of several energy enterprises. In 2017, Ms. Zhao handled Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd.'s private placement of A shares and H shares, which was the first non-public offering of A shares and H shares after the China Securities Regulatory Commission revised the "Implementing Rules for Private Placement of Shares by Listed Companies" and was the first non-public offering of A shares and H shares to successfully complete the whitewash waiver in Hong Kong. Ms. Zhao's clients include China Datang Corporation Ltd., China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co., Ltd. and other large-scale state-owned energy enterprises.
