Yingzi LIU and Yan LI Selected as Expert Members of Rule of Law Talent Pool for SMEs of China

To further study and implement Xi Jinping's thought on the rule of law, address the current demands of SMEs for rule of law business environment and legal services, adapt to the series of legal changes brought about by the promulgation of the Civil Code, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of SMEs and entrepreneurs, equally protect the legitimate rights and interests of all types of enterprises according to law, and create a favorable rule of law environment for the development of SMEs, China Association of Small & Medium Commercial Enterprises (CASME) has solicited outstanding law firms nationwide to join the "National SME Rule of Law Check-up Service Station" and outstanding legal experts to join the "China SME Rule of Law Talent Pool".
The selection process was based on the principles of Openness, Fairness, Impartiality and Reasonableness, and candidates were nominated by the provincial level legal associations, self-nominated by units and individuals, and reviewed by a comprehensive expert review panel on the basis of voluntary application. Recently, China Association of Small & Medium Commercial Enterprises (CASME) issued the proposed final lists for "National SME Rule of Law Check-up Service Station" and outstanding legal experts to join the "China SME Rule of Law Talent Pool". Upon the expiration of the publicity period, Partner Yingzi LIU and Lawyer Yan LI from Hylands Beijing Office have been officially selected as expert members of the "China SME Rule of Law Talent Pool". The term of engagement is one year, from December 2021 to December 2022.
In January 2006, upon the official approval of the State Council, the former China Federation of Collective Commercial Enterprises, which was established in 1992, was officially renamed as the China Association of Small & Medium Commercial Enterprises (CASME). The Association is a nationwide, non-profit social organization with independent legal person status registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs under the supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
