Shanhe JIANG Honored as Model and Advanced Personality of Capital Judicial Administration in the New Era

Recently, Shanhe JIANG, Partner of Hylands Law Firm, was awarded the title of "Model and Advanced Personality of Capital Judicial Administration in the New Era" issued by Municipal Bureau of Justice in Beijing. The legal practitioners selected for the "Model and Advanced Personality of Capital Judicial Administration in the New Era" included not only the people' s police in prisons (drug rehabilitation), the judicial administration police group, but also lawyers, notaries and other legal service workers. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice aims to further enhance the social influence of the judicial administration system by promoting exemplary and advanced figures of judicial administration, publicizing typical deeds, and highlighting the power of role models, while practicing the purpose of serving the people and making the general public feel the warmth of justice for the people. 

As Member of the CPPCC in Chaoyang District, Beijing, Shanhe JIANG has long been concerned about the construction of the government's rule of law, focusing on responding to social opinions and taking full advantage of his professional expertise to participate in basic social governance work. Shanhe JIANG provided legal opinions for the basic-level government to decongest non-capital functions and provided all-round legal support. His paper "Lawyers Defend and Escort the Decongesting of Non-Capital Functions in Beijing" was adopted by the "Tenth China Lawyers Forum" held by the National Bar Association. As one of the drafters of the research project of the CPPCC of Chaoyang District "Street and Township Blowing Sentinels, Departments Reporting to the Office", Shanhe JIANG, together with other members, took three months to draft the "Research Report on the Work Responsibilities of Subdistrict Offices” in conjunction with 111 work tasks of the Beijing Municipal Editorial Office to sort out Subdistrict Party Committee offices. His proposals, such as Proposal on Further Implementing the Responsibility System for Creating a National Sanitary District in Chaoyang District, Beijing, and Proposal on Further Improving the Legal Regulation of the System of Defaulted Executes (2017 Outstanding Proposal Award), have helped the government to provide legal and scientific administration and efficient services. Shanhe JIANG has also regularly visited communities to engage in public welfare activities, presented law books to communities and garrison troops, provided public welfare lectures for the western lawyer industry, participated in various types of trainings 13 times, submitted 21 proposals as members, reported 12 pieces of social opinion information, and participated in various public welfare activities 33 times.
