Yipeng JIA Elected as Supervisor of the Chinese Red Cross Foundation

On December 27, 2021, the first session of the Fifth Council of the China Red Cross Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "CRCF") was held in Beijing. Chen Zhu, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the Red Cross Society of China, attended the session and delivered a speech. Wang Ke, Secretary of the Leading Party Group and Executive Deputy President of the Red Cross Society of China, Sun Shuopeng, Member of the Leading Party Group and Deputy President of the Red Cross Society of China, Jia Xiaojiu, Director of the Department of Charity Promotion and Social Work of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and candidates for the Fifth Council of the Chinese Red Cross Foundation attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Guo Changjiang, Chairman of the Fourth Board of Directors of CRCF. Yipeng JIA, Member of the Management Committee and Partner of Hylands, was invited to attend the meeting as Honorary Director of the Fourth Council, and was elected as Supervisor of the Fifth China Legal Aid Foundation. 

At the meeting, 18 members of the Fifth Board of Directors were elected, including Wang Chenbo, Bei Xiaochao, Mi Na, Li Liming, Li Yan, Li Jian, Li Tao, Li Min, Zhang Xuqin, Jin Baojie, Jin Jinping, Ao Hushan, Huang Bin, Cao Huaijie, Liang Chunxiao, Fu Yang, Zhan Yujin, Dou Ruigang, etc. Shuopeng SUN, on behalf of the Leading Party Group of the Red Cross Society of China, delivered a statement on the nomination of the President of the Fifth Board of Directors of the Chinese Red Cross Foundation, and the meeting elected Xiaochao BE as the Chairman and Legal Representative of the Fifth Board of Directors of the Chinese Red Cross Foundation. Chen Zhu awarded a commemorative plaque and the "Human-oriented Service Medal" to Changjiang GUO, Chairman of the Fourth Board of Directors.
