Hylands Promotes the Development of the Digital Therapy Industry in the Hainan Province

During the discussion stage of the Measures, Hylands actively participated in the seminar of Hainan Digital Therapy Innovation Week, consulted with international leading digital therapy companies, and provided professional legal advice. During the formulation stage of the Measures, Hylands participated in the formulation and revision of the document Measures for Accelerating the Development of the Digital Therapy Industry in Hainan Province. Furthermore, several recommendations made by Hylands’ attorneys were adopted.

To implement the spirit of the speech made by General Secretary Jinping XI - ‘Hainan should deepen the supply-side structural reform, exert the advantages, gather innovative elements, and actively develop a new generation of the information technology industry and digital economy’- at the conference celebrating the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of Hainan Special Economic Zone, the General Office of the People’s Government of Hainan Province formulated several measures to seize the historical opportunity. It has decided to transform Hainan into a global digital therapy innovation island and an innovation resource concentration area with an industry-leading position through 2-3 years of efforts. And it will make digital therapy a ‘new engine’ for the high-quality development of Hainan’s health industry and achieve the goal of increasing the average life expectancy by two years during the 14^th Five-Year Plan.
