Hylands Assists BDR THERMEA in Completion of Compliance Management System Project

BDR Thermea, as one of the three largest HVAC groups in the world, is a professional provider of heating and cooling solutions and services, and is committed to developing innovative products and services for energy saving and emission reduction. The Group operates a portfolio of over ten internationally renowned brands in more than 100 countries and regions, with an annual sales volume of over EUR 2 billion. 

This Compliance Project is an important part for BDR Thermea to advance its global compliance system. BDR Thermea China has entrustment Hylands to engage in the development of the compliance system, and upon acceptance of the entrustment, the lawyer team has performed a careful analysis and examination, and submitted a detailed work plan based on the conditions of the Company. Following the launch of the Project, the lawyer team has made multiple communications with the management of the Company and performed due diligence interviews with employees in Beijing, Jiaxing, Xi'an and Wuxi. Based on the findings of the due diligence and risk assessment, the team has sorted out and assessed the current conditions of BDR Thermea and proposed solutions for the construction of the compliance management system of BDR Thermea; assisted BDR Thermea in building a compliance management system with the characteristics of the Company in terms of organization, system, culture, training, reporting, rewards and punishments; and constructed the organizational structure of the compliance system of the Company, clarified the responsibilities of each department in the compliance management system, and also established the operation and guarantee system of the compliance management for the Company. 

Meanwhile, the lawyer team has identified the key areas and basic requirements of compliance management in line with the business development of the Company, and formulated a number of individual systems to regulate the key areas and important matters, with each system specifying the key recipient departments and implementation subjects so as to facilitate the utilization and maintenance of the compliance management system by each department. The lawyer team has also performed several compliance trainings for the employees of the Company in batches to publicize the compliance culture and compliance requirements of the Company, thereby promoting the effective implementation and operation of the compliance management system. 

With this Project, BDR Thermea has established a compliance system from scratch with its own characteristics and in line with the future development strategy of the Company, thereby making it possible for the compliance management of the Company based on rules and regulations, and comprehensively upgrading the risk prevention capabilities of the Company.
