Hylands Acts on behalf of the Hujialou Sub-district Office of the Chaoyang District People’s Government of Beijing in responding to the case of Danlin GUO’s request to Cancel the registration of the Owners’ Committee of the Great Mall

In July 2018, Chinese-American Danling GUO, an owner of the Great Mall, Hujialou Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing, sued the Hujialou Sub-district office of the People’s Government of Chaoyang District, Beijing to the Chaoyang District People’s Court, demanding the office to cancel the registration of Owners’ Committee of the Great Mall on the ground that the office had violated relevant laws and regulations. The office entrusted attorney Shanhe JIANG of Hylands as its agent in the case.

After accepting the entrustment of the case, attorney Shanhe JIANG submitted his opinions and evidential materials to the court and conducted a comprehensive analysis of the case from the perspectives of the election procedure of the owners' committee, the legal basis, and the review obligation of the administrative organ. Later, the court fully accepted the opinion of attorney Shanhe JIANG and rejected the plaintiff Danling’s GUO’S lawsuit request.
