Hylands Assists Zhangzhou Transportation Development Group in Issuing USD 500 Million of Overseas Bonds
On June 1, 2022, Zhangzhou Transportation Development Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Zhangzhou Transportation") has successfully issued overseas bonds amounting to USD 500 million in Hong Kong, with a coupon rate of 4.98% and a maturity of 3 years. Hylands Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as "Hylands") served as the legal advisor for Zhangzhou Transportation, providing legal services for the entire Project.
Zhangzhou Transportation is a state-owned holding enterprise, which was established as approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Zhangzhou Municipal People's Government in May 2011, and was established on the basis of the integration of seven units affiliated to the transportation system of Zhangzhou, with share participation from the Fujian Provincial Department of Finance. The successful issuance of overseas bonds in Hong Kong has fully reflected the recognition of the international capital market for the reputation of the credit, strength and industrial layout of the domestic market, and is also an important step for Zhangzhou Transportation to develop overseas financing channels, promote a three-dimensional diversified financing pattern and expand the international market.
The Project was led by Partner Wenhao DONG, with the participation of Mengyao WU, Han LI, Siqing LUO and Youyi WEI, all of whom have been involved at all stages of the Project, providing professional legal services for this offshore bond issuance.
