Managed by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, CCOIC is the national chamber that represents China in the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

The China Chamber of International Commerce operates under the membership system. Its main responsibilities are to promote Sino-foreign economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, represent the Chinese business community’s interests before the international organizations and Chinese and foreign government departments, participate in the formulation and promotion of international economic and trade rules, and advise the business community to actively assume social responsibility and public welfare. As of November 2019, the number of China Chamber of International Commerce members has reached 240,000, including the vast majority of central enterprises, national financial institutions, and a large number of well-known private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises.
