A deal advised by Hylands Rated as the Deal of the Year 2020 by China Business Law Journal

On February 5, China Business Law Journal published the list of 2020 ‘Deals of the Year’ in China. Beijing-Tianjin Expressway issuing RMB 4.25 billion asset securitization project advised by Hylands Law Firm is ranked in the list. Partner Xiao Qun, together with attorneys Li Jie and Zhang Yan served on this project.


The plan was successfully issued on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on October 16, 2020. It is the largest infrastructure fee-based asset securitization project in the past three years, with a total target amount of RMB 4.25 billion. The issuer of the plan is Tianjin Jingjin Expressway Co., Ltd., the underlying asset of the product is the infrastructure toll right, and Capital Securities Co., Ltd. acts as the plan manager. China Chengxin International Credit Rating Co., Ltd. rated the senior asset-backed securities as AAA.
