Hylands Young Lawyers Working Committee Established

On the afternoon of November 4, 2021, the inaugural meeting of the Young Lawyers Working Committee of Hylands Law Firm and the first executive council meeting was successfully held in the Beijing office.  The meeting was presided over by lawyer Zhengning LI, director of the Youth Working Committee.  Lawyer Hong LIU, director of the firm, lawyers Xiye FU, Zhitong ZHU, and Chechang MU, members of the management committee, lawyer Yi DONG, chairman of the labor union, and lawyer Han ZHOU, member of the labor union, attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Director Hong LIU pointed out that the vigorous development of the firm relies on the support of young lawyers.  It is hoped that the Committee will assume its duties, support young lawyers in all aspects, and lead the young generation of lawyers in the firm to thrive.

The meeting elected Zhengning LI as the director of the Committee, Kang SUN, Suran SHEN, and Yang ZHAO as the deputy directors, Dapeng SUN as the secretary-general, Haining CHEN, and Zixuan WANG as the deputy secretaries-general, and also elected Jiejun LI, Xichen XING, Miao GE, Mengqi SHI, Jun ZHANG, Ming ZHANG, Wei HE, and Hanqi HUO as the executive directors of the Committee.

The meeting adopted the following work program:

● The Committee is an organization formed under the leadership of the firm's management committee. It is in charge of independently organizing activities and self-management of internal members, and serving the young lawyers and staff of the firm.

● The purpose of the Committee is to make the profession interesting for lawyers and provide them with support and opportunities to flourish.

● The goal of the Committee is to let the young lawyers of the firm get to know each other and understand each other's practice and areas of expertise. On the one hand, the Committee will organize various activities to ease the work pressure of young lawyers. It will organize training to improve the professional skills of young lawyers, lay the foundation for their future development, and create opportunities for them to develop.

● The working method of the Committee is to organize activities by itself and assist or participate in the activities of other institutions and groups.

The Committee will start recruiting members from the Beijing head office in the near future. Young lawyers are welcome to join!Let young lawyers work and live happily, and let the Hylands become a warm home for young lawyers to grow up.
