The First GuiKe Talks Held in Hylands to Discuss the Merger and Development of Law Firms
At the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Hylands Law Firm and the relocation of the office, on the afternoon of March 15, Hylands’ Beijing office held the first GuiKe Talk seminar, themed on Law Firm Merger and Lawyer Development.
Participants included partners from Jincheng Tongda & Neal, Dacheng, Tianda Gonghe, Guantao Zhongmao, Tianchi Juntai, Jiawei, Hankun, Lantai, Times Jiuhe, Guoco, AllBright, Yihe, Daokete, Xingchen, Shen Hao, Bohe Hanshang, Guangyue, and Jing Yulin. They attended the event through a combination of both online and offline means.
First, Director Hong LIU delivered an opening speech. Mr. Guiming LIU, editor-in-chief of Law Propaganda Online of China Democracy and Legal Publishing House, and the dean of Guike College served as the moderator of the seminar.

Lawyer Yipeng JIA, a member of the management committee and partner of Hylands Law Firm extended a warm welcome to the guests. He said that the theme of this seminar is very practical and is always discussed at Hylands, and he looked forward guests to sharing their opinions on the relevant issues.
The guests discussed the opportunities and risks in the merger of law firms, model exploration before the merger, solutions to difficult problems in the merger, running-in, and transition after the merger, and integrated development after the merger. They have also expressed their opinions on the development direction and brand positioning of the new firm formed after the merger, such as cultural integration and management models.
Before the meeting, Director Hong LIU led the guests to visit the new office of Hylands Law Firm. Hylands' new office space was made available for use in January this year, with a total area of 2300 square meters, including conference areas, office spaces, shared office spaces, partner offices, and employee leisure spaces thus trying to provide employees with a comfortable office environment.
The first Guike Talks ended successfully in a jubilant atmosphere. Director Hong LIU said that Hylands was willing to become a platform to promote friendly exchanges between law firms.
