The Third (Extended) Meeting of the National Board of Directors and the (Extended) Meeting of the National Board of Supervisors in 2022 Successfully Held

The autumn wind has gone, and the cold winter is approaching. On November 7, 2022,  Hylands Law Firm's 2022 National Board of Directors Third (Extended) Meeting and National Supervisory Committee (Extended) Meeting were held at Hylands’ Beijing headquarters. The meeting was held in the hybrid form of online and offline. Lawyer Hong Liu, Director of Hylands, lawyer Zhengfu Zhu, Chairman of the National Partner Congress, lawyer Qi Jiang, Chairman of the National Board of Directors, lawyer Zhangjian Peng , Chairman of the National Board of Supervisors, lawyer Yu Xu , Director of the Management Committee of Beijing Headquarters, and all other members of the National Board of Directors, the Supervisory Committee, and the Beijing Management Committee attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by lawyer Qi Jiang, Chairman of the National Board of Directors, and lawyer Miao Zhang, member of the National Board of Supervisors. Lawyer Zhang said that in the first three quarters of 2022, the National Board of Directors, the National Board of Supervisors, and their subordinate departments completed several important tasks in an orderly manner, significantly improving the firm's management system and promoting business growth. Adhering to the concept of steady development, the board decided to appoint new members to the national board of directors: appointing partner Keqing Zhao from Hylands Shanghai office, partner Feng Wang from the Fuzhou office and partner Jie Liu from Xi'an office as members of the board of directors; and appointing Lawyer Wei Hanjiao from the national board of supervisors as National Board of Supervisors.

To further implement the work arrangements of Hylands National Board of Directors and the National Board of Supervisors, according to the provisions of the ‘Articles of Association of Hylands Law Firm’ and for the operation and development of the firm, the National Board of Directors decided to set up five new special committees: business development and innovation department, partner development and assessment department, financial management and tax planning department, salary management and fairness department, market development and customer service department. It has appointed lawyer Wenhao Dong as the director of the business development and innovation committee, lawyer Fei Mu as the director of the partners’ development and assessment committee, lawyer Weiyong Chen as the director of the financial management and tax planning committee, lawyer Xiye Fu as the director of the salary management and fairness committee, and lawyer Zhitong Zhu as the director of the market development and customer service committee.

In addition, the National Board of Supervisors decided to set up four special committees: evaluation committee, punishment committee, fairness committee, and disciplinary committee. And it has appointed heads for each of these special committees; appointed lawyer Chechang Mu as the director of the evaluation committee, lawyer Guangyu Li as the director of the disciplinary committee, lawyer  Guoguang Zhang as the director of the fairness committee, and lawyer Wenting Li as the director of the disciplinary committee.

Furthermore, members of the national board of directors, members of the national board of supervisors, and other non-voting members conducted a full discussion on the ‘Implementation Opinions on Hylands Law Firm's Integrated Development (Discussion Draft)’, and carefully reviewed and reached a consensus on planning and implementation of Hylands’ human resource system that would lay a good foundation for the integrated development of the firm.


This meeting fully demonstrated the enterprising spirit of the Hylands people. In the future, Hylands will continue to strengthen the reformation of the firm and stimulate further innovation; the firm will continue to strengthen the construction of the national board of directors, give full play to the role of the national board of directors in "setting strategies, making decisions, and preventing risks" to enhance the core competitiveness of the firm. All Hylands’ colleagues will continue to forge ahead and strive to make greater achievements.
